Canossa Academy of Calamba City’s is a three-hectare school with a spacious grass covered grounds for sports and other activities. Located a block away from the highway, free from disturbing noises and distracting activities, makes it an ideal place for learning.
The school has three fully air-conditioned computer laboratories with more than 40 personal computer units each connected to the Internet via DSL which students may use for educational purposes. Equipped with a sound system and LCD projector to facilitate better teaching and learning process. Likewise, an air-conditioned library for students where vast collection of books and other learning materials is regularly augmented through continuous requisitions by the administration and faculty. The library also provide research area where computer units are connected to the internet for research work of the students. An Archive Room, located at the library, keeps school documentary, records and other important artifacts which are also made available for the whole educative community. Augmenting the services that the library offer is the Audio Visual room. The school’s collection of tapes, CVDs, VHSs, and other technology resources/ equipment is adequately maintained in the Audio-Visual Center. Use of these materials is made available through proper coordination with the AV Custodian.
The school also provides two science laboratories equipped with science models, teaching-learning aids and projects, facilities/equipments and laboratory tools for experiments and other science related activities. Safety of all is ensured by providing fire extinguishers and first aid kit.
The Practice House, a feature that is not commonly used by other schools, serves as a laboratory for TLE where High School students are trained to manage their pseudo home for 4 days. Home management skills are better honed in the “House”.
The basketball, volleyball court and a wide gymnasium effectively enhance the student’s physical development and athletic activities. Spacious Guidance and Counselling Center provide student services such as guidance counselling, testing, etc. to assist students in the development of their personality and maximization of their potentials in academic and personal pursuits
